A study was done to see how different types of nutrients affect the uptake of important minerals by rice plants at different growth stages. They tested using cow dung, vermicompost, and green manure along with regular fertilizer. The rice plants absorbed more nutrients when they were given regular fertilizer along with cow dung. The same results were seen with green manure and regular fertilizer.
