The article revisits Saint Anselm's Ontological Argument, a famous proof for the existence of God. Many philosophers have rejected this argument, mainly due to the belief that logic alone cannot prove the existence of something beyond our understanding. The focus of this paper is on understanding Immanuel Kant's criticism of Anselm's argument. The paper clarifies that Kant's criticism has been widely misunderstood, and offers a new interpretation of his objections.
