The meeting brought together coordinators from various Biosphere Reserves worldwide, including both established and newly designated sites. Participants discussed how to manage reserves with multiple designations, such as World Heritage Sites and Ramsar Wetlands. Representatives from countries with older reserves in need of updates also attended. The goal was to foster cooperation and exchange ideas among reserve managers from different backgrounds and experiences.
