Psoriasis is linked to a signaling pathway called JAK-STAT, which involves various cell factors promoting skin cell growth and inflammation. Targeting this pathway is a new strategy for treating psoriasis. Small JAK inhibitors have shown good results in treating psoriasis, while drugs targeting STAT are in development, providing more treatment options.
