Migration in Ghana may not significantly impact the welfare of households left behind. A study compared migrant and non-migrant households using data from the University of Ghana. Results were mixed: one measure showed non-migrant households had higher welfare, while another showed equal welfare for all. Overall, there was no significant difference in welfare between households with migrants and those without.
