The article "Unfulfilled Aspirations" explores how the concept of 'Middle Power' helps us understand the behavior of countries like the UK, France, Australia, and Brazil. Surprisingly, this concept hasn't been applied much to the Middle East. The researchers in this volume look at how Middle Eastern countries like Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Qatar, and the UAE fit into this 'Middle Power' idea. They found that despite trying hard, these countries have not been able to achieve their regional goals.
