The article estimates the financial wealth of Indian households by looking at their assets and liabilities. Researchers analyzed accounting issues to understand how households accumulate wealth. They found that real estate and gold are the most significant assets for Indian households, while debts are mainly in the form of loans. This study sheds light on how Indian families build and manage their financial resources.
