The article discusses recent trends in international migration in OECD countries. It looks at permanent migration for work, family, and humanitarian reasons from 2007 to 2017, as well as temporary migration for work purposes like seasonal workers and trainees. The study also examines international student mobility and asylum requests in OECD countries. It analyzes the gender and country of origin of migrants, the size of foreign-born populations, and trends in acquiring nationality. The article concludes by discussing changes in migration management policies from 2017 to 2018.
