The article describes how a 3D national building geo-data model for Turkey was created to align with international standards. They developed a new data model called CityGML-TRKBIS.BI by extending CityGML to meet Turkey's needs. This new model represents buildings in 2D, 2.5D, and 3D formats. By comparing existing building models and adapting CityGML to fit Turkey's requirements, the researchers established a common format for exchanging building data at a national level. This work provides valuable insights for 3D applications in Turkey.
