This research looks at trade rules in different trade agreements and how they connect to global trade rules. Instead of focusing on just some agreements like before, this study looks at a huge set of agreements. It compares new rules in these agreements with rules made by countries globally. The study finds differences between the rules, which could affect countries in these agreements and those not in them. The research adds to the discussion on how the World Trade Organization oversees global trade and how its rules match up with rules in smaller trade agreements.
