The article looks at how efficiently renewable energy resources like solar and wind power are being used in Turkey. By using a special method called exergy analysis, the researchers measured how well these resources are being converted into usable energy in different sectors like homes, businesses, and industry. In 2010, Turkey's total renewable energy input was estimated to be 7,400.34 PJ, while the energy produced from renewable sources was 580.20 PJ. The efficiency of turning renewable resources into energy was found to be 60.99%, and the overall efficiency of using this energy was 49.85%. These results show that there's room to improve how efficiently Turkey is using its renewable energy sources, especially in key areas like homes, businesses, and factories.
