Optimizing nitrogen levels boosts wheat yield and quality significantly.
The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen affected the growth and yield of wheat. They tested eight levels of nitrogen in a field experiment and found that higher nitrogen levels led to better growth and higher yields. The wheat plants had more tillers, taller height, and produced more seeds when given more nitrogen. The best results were seen with 203 kg/ha of nitrogen for plant growth and 145 kg/ha for grain yield.
