The article explores African entrepreneurship in Zambia, addressing differing views on the presence of entrepreneurial talent. The study focuses on four key industries and examines entrepreneur characteristics, firm start-ups, and firm growth. Key findings suggest that economic policies and non-productive activities may hinder entrepreneurial development in Africa.
