Dynamic Managerial Capabilities (DMCs) are skills used by managers to gain a competitive edge during times of big changes. A study looked at CEOs from small-to-medium businesses in finance and real estate to see what DMCs they used. The managers used learning and innovation skills, along with participative leadership, to succeed. These skills work together, help other abilities, and lead to an advantage.
