The study looked at how the Dubai stock market is influenced by changes in oil prices, specifically West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and Brent. They analyzed data from 2008 to 2015, focusing on periods of low oil prices and major crashes in 2008 and 2014. The results showed that the Dubai stock market is affected by WTI prices, especially during times of low oil prices. Additionally, WTI spot prices were found to influence Brent spot prices.
