Lecturer experience key in boosting student achievement in Statistics.
The study looked at how students and teachers affect student achievement in Statistics at a school in Ibadan. They found that factors like lecturer experience and student attitude towards Statistics play a significant role in student success. These factors together accounted for 80.8% of the variation in student achievement. Lecturer experience was the most important factor in predicting student achievement in Statistics. It was suggested that schools should consider these factors when planning Statistics education programs to help students succeed.
