Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems can be beneficial for companies if implemented correctly, but many fail, impacting businesses negatively. This research examines difficulties in ERP implementations by studying eight corporations post-implementation. The study focuses on operations management rather than information systems literature to provide valuable insights. The findings offer new theories to help practitioners successfully manage ERP implementations.
