A new live-trap called the LOT trap was created for catching small mammals. It is cheaper to make than other traps and was tested in a study. The trap is made of PVC pipe with tin and plexiglas doors. In the study, the LOT trap caught 81.6% of rodents, while other traps only caught 18.4%.
