Unlocking Innovation and Solving Problems Through Requirements Traceability
Requirements traceability is about tracking the life of a requirement in a system. It helps align system changes with stakeholder needs, uncover problems, and manage knowledge. There are two types of traceability: before and after requirements are specified. Users can be divided into low and high end groups. Issues like definitions and conflicting problems need addressing. Tools are used to support traceability. The research suggests more work is needed in this area.
