The HLPF was created by the UN to follow up on sustainable development goals from Rio+20. It focuses on integrating social, economic, and environmental aspects, addressing new challenges. The first meeting in 2013 discussed turning visions into actions, global partnerships for development, and eradicating poverty for sustainable development.
