Shanghai's Waste-to-Energy Future: Powering the City with Sustainable Electricity Generation
The article predicts how much electricity can be generated from trash in Shanghai using a special computer model. By looking at six factors that affect trash generation, the model can estimate how much electricity can be produced. The results show that by 2025, Shanghai could generate between 260.668 and 512.752 gigawatt-hours of electricity from trash. This information can help make decisions about how to generate electricity from trash in a more sustainable way.
