The study looked at different ways of preparing soil for growing cotton and pulses in a dry area. They tested four methods of tillage and found that using a Rotovator plough followed by chisel plough gave the best results in terms of soil moisture, crop yield, and profit. This method helped to keep more water in the soil and increase the productivity of the crops.
