Solid waste management in growing cities is a big issue, especially household waste. This study looked at how much waste different income groups in Khulna city produce and what it's made of. They found that households make between 0.421 to 5.81 kg of waste per day, with an average of 1.917 kg per day and 0.476 kg per person per day. Kitchen garbage is the most common type of waste. The more money a household has and the bigger it is, the more waste it produces. This information can help city planners make better waste management plans.
