New Study Reveals How Sulphur Levels Impact Soil Health in Himachal Pradesh
The study looked at how different levels and sources of sulfur affect sulfur levels in soil used to grow cauliflower in Himachal Pradesh. They found that increasing sulfur levels led to higher amounts of available, water soluble, organic, and total sulfur in the soil. Among the sulfur sources tested, Sartaj gypsum had the highest available and water soluble sulfur levels. The different sulfur sources did not affect heat soluble, organic, or total sulfur levels. Overall, all sulfur fractions were positively correlated with available sulfur, with the strongest correlation seen with water soluble sulfur.
