Paper Summary

The article looks at how X.509 certificates, which help keep our online communication secure, are revoked. The researchers studied 36 million certificates over 120 days to see how often they were revoked by different certificate authorities. They found that some certificates went from being revoked to being considered valid again before they expired. This shows that there are different practices among certificate authorities when it comes to revoking certificates.
