Frozen embryo transfer success unaffected by culture duration
Post-thaw culture time of frozen embryos before transfer does not affect the live birth rate in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles. Researchers compared short (2-4 hours) and long (20-22 hours) culture times of blastocysts before transfer and found no significant difference in pregnancy outcomes between the two groups. This study was conducted on over 2000 frozen-thawed cycles, showing that the duration of post-thaw embryo culture does not impact the chances of live birth.
