Major food companies face barriers in implementing sustainability strategies, impacting environment.
Large food and beverage companies are important for the environment and society. A study looked at what helps and hinders these companies from being sustainable. They talked to 16 big companies in Australia. Not having clear government rules is a big problem, but bosses caring about sustainability is a big help. Companies need to understand what drives and blocks sustainability to make good plans. This study is the first to look at this for big food and drink makers.
