The researchers surveyed 262 manufacturing firms in China and found that paying attention to green markets helps with creating green products, while being good at absorbing new green knowledge helps with both green products and processes. They also discovered that combining a focus on green markets and absorptive capacity leads to even better green innovations. This study sheds light on how companies can improve their environmental impact by being aware of green trends and being open to new green technologies.
