This study looked at how COVID-19 affects male fertility in the long term by checking the quality of semen in men who had recovered from the virus. They examined 14 men who had a history of infertility after having COVID-19. Comparing their semen before and after the infection, they found that the pH of the semen decreased notably over time, from 7.9 to 7.4.
