Unlocking Success: Key Attributes for Productivity in Nigerian Construction Industry
Human resource management practices in the Nigerian construction industry were studied to identify key attributes for success. Through a review of existing models, 15 attributes were identified, with the top six being training, recruitment, performance appraisal, rewards, communication, and emotional intelligence. It was found that acquiring more knowledge, hiring suitable applicants, evaluating performance for rewards, and promoting a positive communication system can enhance HR performance and productivity in the industry.
