Batik SMEs in Malaysia Gain Competitive Edge through Absorptive Capacity and Strategic Orientations
The study looked at how different strategies and the ability to learn new things affect the success of small batik businesses in Malaysia. They found that being good at learning new things and focusing on competitors, innovation, and suppliers can help these businesses do better. However, focusing on customers didn't seem to make much of a difference. Overall, the ability to learn new things and paying attention to competitors were the most important factors for success in the batik industry.
