The study looked at what factors affect the demand for labor in Sumatera Utara Province. They used data from 2013-2019 on labor demand, output, number of companies, and economic growth. By analyzing this data, they found that the demand for labor is influenced by output and the number of companies, but not by economic growth. This means that when companies produce more and there are more firms operating, they tend to hire more workers.
