New Durum Wheat Genotypes Promise Higher Yields in Ethiopia's Agro-Ecologies
Durum wheat genotypes were studied to find those with better yield traits for breeding programs. The researchers looked at 81 genotypes and found significant genetic variability among them. They identified 10 promising genotypes for future breeding programs, including 214552, 208150, and 238516. These genotypes show potential for improving yield and yield-related traits in similar agro-ecologies.
