Neglecting Smaller Choices at Work Can Decrease Willingness by 13-28%
The study looked at how people make decisions about work and found that when they focus only on one choice at a time, they tend to make different decisions compared to when they consider all their choices together. This narrow focus can change how willing people are to work by a significant amount. The researchers conducted an experiment and discovered that this narrow way of thinking is not the best way to make decisions. They also found that men and women may experience work-related discomfort differently, but their decision-making process is similar.
