Predicting cumulonimbus clouds in Indonesia is crucial for aviation safety. A study compared different weather prediction models to see which one is best at forecasting these clouds. The models tested were ACCESS, IFS HRES, ICON, WRF-CIPS, and WRF-INA. The results showed that the IFS HRES model performed the best out of all the models. This means it is the most accurate at predicting cumulonimbus clouds in Indonesia. Further research is needed to confirm these findings with different cloud frequency distributions.
