New technique enhances image resolution by capturing texture with fractal features.
Fractal geometry is used to enhance image resolution by analyzing texture features. A new method combines wavelet and fractal techniques to improve image quality. By applying scaling in the gradient domain, the method makes fractal features scale-invariant, leading to better texture restoration. The approach successfully retains both fractal dimension and length in the feature vector, resulting in enhanced image resolution with preserved texture information. The method's effectiveness is demonstrated through qualitative and quantitative comparisons with other techniques.
