Inconsistent Liquidity-Profitability Relationship Found in Indian Automobile Companies.
The article examines how liquidity affects the profitability of automobile companies in India. Data from annual reports of these companies from 2000-01 to 2019-20 was used to calculate liquidity and profitability ratios. Statistical tools like correlation and multiple regression were used to analyze the relationship between liquidity and profitability. The results showed that there is no consistent pattern in how liquidity impacts profitability for these companies.
