Cadastral maps are important for managing land, but traditional paper maps are no longer enough. To improve this, a Land Information System with digital cadastral maps is being developed. New technologies like GPS and digital theodolites are making this possible. These digital maps can be used as a foundation for managing administrative units more effectively.
