Fly ash fails to reduce abrasion, raising concerns for waste management.
The study compared fly ash and bottom ash to see how they affect each other and coconut fiber in terms of abrasion resistance. The researchers used questionnaires, observations, and previous studies to gather data. The results showed that fly ash did not help prevent abrasion in bottom ash, and neither ash type was effective against coconut fiber. Fly ash was found to have a coarser texture than bottom ash. Overall, there was no significant difference in reducing abrasion between fly ash, bottom ash, and coconut coir.
