Indonesian aviation safety at risk despite meeting standards, fatal accidents looming.
The article examines civil aviation safety in Indonesia using the principles of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Despite meeting standard requirements, there are still areas needing improvement to prevent future accidents. The study links human error in aviation accidents to safety compliance indicators, suggesting a need for increased safety measures and surveillance. Recommendations include enhancing safety compliance, monitoring safety obligations, and integrating safety and security into aviation policies for a safer Indonesian aviation industry.
