Public Choice is not as popular in academic literature anymore, with a new version called "Political Economics" emerging. It's unclear if this new version will have a big impact on economics or politics. However, the ideas in Public Choice are still very important in real life. Future economists and social scientists may find these insights valuable in the future, even though it might take some time. Public Choice Scholars need to stick to their beliefs.
