The study aimed to understand how students in higher education learn and use statistics. Researchers looked at 114 students from universities in West Java, Indonesia. They found that students have two main dimensions of statistical literacy: knowledge (including descriptive and inference statistics, communication, and reasoning) and attitude (confidence and critical thinking).
