The article explores how environmental uncertainty and regulations impact companies' green technological innovation in China. They studied data from 2005 to 2019 and found that uncertainty and regulations both encourage green innovation. Regulations also strengthen the link between uncertainty and innovation. Additionally, complex environments boost green innovation, while dynamic environments hinder it. Regulations amplify the link between complexity and innovation, but weaken the link between dynamism and innovation.
