RMB Exchange Rate Regime Boosts Stability Amid Global Conflicts
The article discusses the RMB exchange rate regime in China, focusing on its reform process and current status. It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the regime and its impact on RMB exchange rate stability during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The study suggests four policy recommendations to improve the regime, including flexible management, balance of payments regulation, reasonable exchange rate fluctuations, and enhanced central bank intervention for monetary policy.
