Greenpeace tried to stop deforestation in the Amazon from 2018 to 2021. They used monitoring and technology to help indigenous people protect their land. Deforestation decreased by 62% in some areas, but it's only a small part of the whole forest. Unfortunately, deforestation increased again in 2021, showing that Greenpeace's efforts were not very effective.
