The Unimodal Ordered Logit (UOL) model was developed to better analyze survey data with ordered responses. By adding a correction term to the logit model, the UOL model captures the natural ordering of responses more accurately than the conventional Ordered Logit (OL) model. When applied to predict COVID-19 measures participation, the UOL model showed improved accuracy and fit compared to the OL model.
