New Energy Vehicles to Revolutionize Smart City Commutes with Highly Accurate Consumption Predictions
This article presents a new way to predict the energy consumed by electric cars in smart cities using a special type of computer program called LSTM network. The researchers studied how electric cars use energy in the city, considering factors like battery power, air resistance, and friction. They created a model to predict energy use and used the LSTM network to make accurate predictions. Their method consistently has less than a 2% prediction error, and it takes only about 0.95 seconds to make each prediction.
