The article examines how working capital impacts the profitability of companies in the Czech Republic's food industry from 2009 to 2019. By analyzing variables like cash conversion cycle and return on sales, the researchers found significant links between working capital and company profitability. The study shows that factors such as current assets ratio and current liabilities ratio also play a role in determining the financial success of food industry companies.
