Revolutionizing Grapevine Growth: Algae Suspension Boosts Leaf Pigment Synthesis
The study aimed to see how a type of algae suspension affects the production of leaf pigments in grapevine cuttings and seedlings. They used different solutions of the algae suspension to soak the cuttings and water the plants. The results showed that using the algae suspension led to a significant increase in chlorophyll and carotenoid levels in the leaves of the grapevines. Overall, the algae suspension positively influenced the accumulation of photosynthetic pigments in the plant tissues, making it a beneficial treatment for grapevine growth.
