The generalized hyperbolic distribution is a type of probability distribution that includes many common distributions like the normal and gamma distributions. In this paper, researchers used Stein's method to describe the GH distribution and found a Stein equation for it. This equation also applies to other well-known distributions that are related to the GH distribution.
